Pet Friendly Policy
We understand how hard it is to find nice places to stay with our dogs, and
therefore we would like to share our holiday home with you and your best
friend/s. Of course they are welcome inside, but we ask that you bring their
own bedding and do not let them on the furniture.
In the best interests of yourselves and for our other guests, please ensure that
your canine friend/s have a flea treatment before your stay. There is also
plenty of decking for them and a secure fenced area that has suitable shade.
Please ensure that you collect any droppings or bones before you leave. As our
home is in a pleasant bushland setting we also ask that you ensure your pet/s
do not harm the wildlife.
We would also ask that you are considerate of other holiday makers and permanent
residents and ensure that your dog does not cause undue noise or disruption to their
peace and quiet. Also when you are in public places you are required to have your pet
under your control at all times.
Rainbow Beach comes under the Cooloola Shire Council and the council states on
their web site that 'Persons walking their pets in a public place are reminded that the
animal must be leashed and kept under effective control' the council also reminds owners
that they are required to pick up after their pet and dispose of the droppings
appropriately. We appreciate your consideration in these matters.
